Mehari Gebreyohanns, Associate Professor of Neurology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, adding:
”Happy to report that our study on ‘Wakeup’ strokes – acute stroke presentations with uncertain time of onset; often (but not always) in patients waking up with stroke symptoms across Emergency Rooms in Texas and Louisiana is published.
This subset of patient population remains very important as we continue to make acute thrombolytic treatment available to more categories of presentations.
Congratulations to our team!”
