Melissa Glasner: The Safe and Effective Implementation of FXI/XIa Inhibitors Into Clinical Practice

”I am very pleased to announce the publication of the first of three manuscripts by the ISTH FXI/XIa Steering Committee.

As FXI/XIa inhibitors move closer to clinical practice, this review highlights the critical role of laboratory testing, assay standardization, and multidisciplinary collaboration in supporting their safe and effective implementation.

Thank you to my co-authors, especially Dave Gailani and Jeffrey Weitz, for their assistance, guidance, and mentorship throughout the development of this manuscript.
