Melissa Glasner: The Safe and Effective Implementation of FXI/XIa Inhibitors Into Clinical Practice
Melissa Glasner, Medical Content Manager at The France Foundation, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in RPTH, adding:
”I am very pleased to announce the publication of the first of three manuscripts by the ISTH FXI/XIa Steering Committee.
As FXI/XIa inhibitors move closer to clinical practice, this review highlights the critical role of laboratory testing, assay standardization, and multidisciplinary collaboration in supporting their safe and effective implementation.
Thank you to my co-authors, especially Dave Gailani and Jeffrey Weitz, for their assistance, guidance, and mentorship throughout the development of this manuscript.
A special shout-out, as always, to Miriam Giles for keeping us organized during the submission and peer review process – couldn’t have done it without you!”
