Paul Riley: Is Thrombin Generation Assay Ready for Prime Time?
Paul Riley, Scientific Marketing Manager at Diagnostica Stago, shared on LinkedIn about his recent article, adding:
”Happy to share a new review article on thrombin generation testing I wrote and recently accepted by Clinics in Laboratory Medicine for a special edition.
The article describes a assay I am very passionate about which has the potential to give clinicians better information about patients’ global risk of bleeding or thrombosis.
The assay is not FDA cleared but available for research in the US and Canada.
It is being used in clinical settings internationally, though in limited volume.
Hopefully usage will increase over time especially if there’s a successful FDA submission at some point.
Thank you to the editors for inviting me to contribute.”
