Prashasti Dahiya: Key Molecular Insights on Thromboinflammation and Angiogenesis in Pediatric Cancer
Prashasti Dahiya, Clinical Physician Assistant at Ontario Cardiology Center, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Annals of Medicine and Surgery, adding:
”Our review article has been published in Annals of Medicine and Surgery.
Title: Molecular regulators of thromboinflammation and angiogenesis in pediatric cancer: emerging roles of noncoding RNAs, epigenetics, and extracellular vesicles – narrative review
This review explores key molecular pathways driving thromboinflammation and angiogenesis in pediatric cancers, highlighting emerging roles of noncoding RNAs, epigenetic regulation, and extracellular vesicles.
I contributed to drafting multiple sections of the manuscript, led the creation of Figures 1 and 2, and was actively involved in finalizing the manuscript.
A key focus of my work was synthesizing how thrombosis, angiogenesis, and inflammation are intricately interconnected, with each process reinforcing the others.
I really enjoyed this process and gained a deeper understanding of these overlapping pathways.
Grateful to collaborate with such a dedicated team and for the guidance throughout this work.”
