Sedat Gül: Is It Time to Reconsider the 24-Hour Antiplatelet Delay After Thrombolysis?
Sedat Gül, Assistant Professor at University of Nebraska Medical Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I had the opportunity to comment in Annals of Internal Medicine on the TAPIS trial, which revisits the timing of antiplatelet therapy after thrombolysis in acute ischemic stroke.
While the findings may not be directly generalizable to the U.S. stroke population, TAPIS provides solid safety data and a signal of potential benefit with earlier initiation of antiplatelet therapy.”
