Weihao Li: Global HEPATIC Registry Findings on Post-Transplant Arterial Thrombosis
Weihao Li, Departmental Data Steward at UMCG Digital Competence Center (DCC), shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he amd his colleagues co-authored, published in The Lancet Child and Adolescent Health, adding:
“A major milestone from the HEPATIC registry is finally out!
I’m delighted to share that our study on outcomes of hepatic artery thrombosis after pediatric liver transplantation has been published in The Lancet Child and Adolescent Health.
Bringing together data from 33 centres in 21 countries, this study provides much needed evidence on outcomes and highlights the continuing need for more effective treatment strategies for hepatic artery thrombosis after pediatric liver transplantation.
My sincere thanks to our principal investigators, Dr Reinoud P.H. B. and Dr Hubert van der Doef, for their guidance, support, and commitment throughout this journey, and to Dr Hermien Hartog for her invaluable surgical expertise and advice.
Many thanks to our collaborators at the 33 participating HEPATIC centres worldwide.
This publication reflects not only the findings, but also the time, expertise, and sustained commitment of colleagues working together across borders.
Proud to see this work published, and even prouder to share this achievement with the team behind it.”
