Zikra Tazeen Mohammad Zakriya: Exploring the Link Between Vitamin D, Stroke, and Thrombosis
Zikra Tazeen Mohammad Zakriya, Internship Trainee at Max Healthcare, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“I’m pleased to have authored a chapter in the recently published book ‘The Power of Vitamin D: An Update on its Role in Health and Disease‘.
Contributing to this book has been a great experience and I am truly grateful to be a part of this insightful work in the field of Vitamin D.
My chapter- ‘Role of Vitamin D in Stroke and Thrombosis‘ sheds light on the importance of Vitamin D in vascular health and how it’s deficiency has been linked to various vascular disorders, along with an overview of mechanism by which vitamin D maintains endothelial health.
I extend my sincere thanks to Prem Prakash for trusting me and giving me the opportunity.
I would also like to thank my co-authors and the editors of the book, for their guidance and support throughout this process.
Looking forward to continuing this journey of learning, writing, and sharing knowledge!”
