Amy Welch Recognised with the 2025 Award for Workplace Giving Corporate Champion
Amy Welch, Wellbeing Project Lead at Commonwealth Bank, shared on LinkedIn:
”At Commonwealth Bank, we’re incredibly proud of our support for Australian Red Cross Lifeblood — and FY25 marked our biggest contribution yet.
With 552 new donors and a total of 5,586 donations, we helped save over 16,700 lives.
Last week, we were honoured to receive the award for Best Workplace Giving Promotion at the Workplace Giving Australia Awards 2025, and I was recognised with the award for Workplace Giving Corporate Champion.
These awards reflect the incredible people I work with and the shared commitment to giving back.
Huge thanks to everyone who voted, supported, and encouraged me — and to Ronny Maroun from Hemostasis Today, Hematology, Health, Medicine, Hemostasis, Thrombosis, Bleeding Disorders, Transfusion Medicine, Plasma Donation, , who is a total superstar.
If you’ve ever thought about donating blood, now’s the time.
One blood donation can save up to three lives — it’s one of the simplest ways to make a real difference.”
