Maria Roussakis: It is an Honour to Be a Part of the ISBT Young Professionals Council
Maria Roussakis, Lecturer (Medical Laboratory Science) at the University of Southern Queensland, reposted from ISBT on LinkedIn:
”Thank you to all young professionals and mentors that attended yesterday’s ISBT Young Professional’s Breakfast.
It was great to see everyone have lively discussions and network with each other!
It is an honour to be a part of the ISBT Young Professionals Council to help organise events that bring together young professionals within the field of blood transfusion!”
Quoting International Society of Blood Transfusion (ISBT)‘s post:
”Day 1 of Blood 2025 and ISBT Perth 2025 has set the tone for an inspiring congress ahead, filled with science, connection, and innovative ideas.
The congress kicked off with the Young Professionals Breakfast which brought professionals from around the world together to build lasting connections.
Then it was time for engaging sessions tackling key questions in transfusion medicine, such as the role of AI and the current clinical challenges that we are facing.
Once the sessions were over it was time to come together and connect with delegates, corporate partners, sponsors and regional societies at the welcome reception.
Don’t forget to stop by the ISBT booth and say hello to the team!
Blood 2025 and ISBT Perth 2025 is just getting started!
What are you most excited about at the congress?”
