Cancelas, Tamir Kanias, Thomas Klei, and the BEST Collaborative on this Commentary “Clinical evaluation of novel blood collection and storage bags containing alternative plasticizers to DEHP: Recommendations from the BEST Collaborative”.
Here, we developed recommendations related to the in vivo data required in relation to replacing DEHP in blood bags to support conversations and alignment of bag manufacturers, regulators, and blood centers in the context of changes in EU regulations.”
