”Bicuspid aortic valve affects approximately 2% of the population and is often underdiagnosed and underrecognized as a potential mechanism for valvular heart disease and aortic aneurysm. In our new analysis of the CDC WONDER dataset, mortality seems to be increasing in this population within the US. Great work by our collaborator and master data scientist, Dr. Marco Zuin!”
