Riddhi Mavani: After Years of Learning, Experimentation, and Perseverance, I’m Delighted to Share That I Have Successfully Completed My Ph.D
Riddhi Mavani, PhD in Biotechnology, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Proud to share a major milestone in my academic journey!
After years of learning, experimentation, and perseverance, I’m delighted to share that I have successfully completed my Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Navrachana University, Vadodara.
My research, titled “Studies on elicitation and biotransformation driven modulation of secondary metabolites in Mesosphaerum suaveolens (L.) Kuntze and Ocimum basilicum L. : an in vitro approach,” focused on developing biotechnological strategies to enhance secondary metabolites from medicinal and aromatic plants.
Guided by Dr. Monisha Kottayi (Guide) and Parth Pandya (Co-guide), my work also explored the efficacy of Arbutin against breast and ovarian cancer cell lines, bridging plant biotechnology and cancer research.
I’m deeply grateful to my mentors for their constant support, to Dr Chirag Ghevariya and Dr Kruti Pandya for their valuable inputs, and my colleagues Harsh Shah, PhD Hetvi Shah and Mr. Deepak Arya for their assistance in the overall research journey.
This Ph.D. is not just an end, it’s the beginning of new explorations in science, discovery, and innovation. ”
