Amirpasha Moetazedian Presents ARTEMIS: ARTificial Blood Vessels for Thrombosis, Endothelial Modelling, And In Vitro Simulation

Amirpasha Moetazedian, Lecturer in Medical Engineering at University of Hull, shared on LinkedIn:

”Finally able to share this — it’s been a long time coming!

Delighted that our £3 million MRC Research Cluster grant has been awarded for “ARTEMIS: ARTificial Blood Vessels for Thrombosis, Endothelial Modelling, And In Vitro Simulation.”

Kudos to Simon Calaminus for putting this together and leading the Cluster.

I’ll be leading the engineering workpackage for the artificial blood vessels and serving as Deputy Lead for the ARTEMIS, working closely with our fantastic colleagues and collaborators in the UK and US.

We’ll be recruiting! Watch out for several postdoc roles, including a 4-year Postdoc in my lab focused on engineering and validating the artificial vessel platform.

Press release.

Can’t wait to get started with this team!

Watch this space!”
