Patients as Experts: EHC Calls for Early Involvement in HTA Systems
The European Haemophilia Consortium shared a post on X:
“Time to make Patients critical to healthcare systems. This message resonated at the EU HTAS take holders Meeting panel on HTA Regulation implementation. Patients aren’t just end-users—they’re experts of their condition and must be involved from the start.”
The post from EHC emphasized that patients should be recognized as key contributors in healthcare decision-making, particularly in the implementation of HTA regulation. It highlighted the call made at the EU HTA Stakeholders Meeting to integrate patient expertise from the outset.
