Matthew Flick Links Urokinase Plasminogen Activator Deficiency to Obesity

Matthew Flick, Professor at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, shared on LinkedIn:

”I’m thrilled that our latest publication is now available online at ATVB An American Heart Association Journal.

Here, we show a contribution for urokinase plasminogen activator (uPA) to early development of obesity and metabolic sequelae.

Great work by lead author Woosuk Steve Hur with important contributions from several groups, including those of Alisa Wolberg and James Luyendyk.

Moreover, this was another highly successful collaboration with Department of Regional Health Research, University of Southern Denmark and Else Marie Bladbjerg.”
