Andrea Marshall, Patient Blood Management Development Manager at NHS Blood and Transplant, shared a post on LinkedIn.
“Beyond Transfusion: The Patient-Centred Evolution of Blood Health
PBM Conference 2026
The NHS Blood and Transplant Patient Blood Management team held their first PBM Conference in November last year.
Chaired by Mike Murphy we hosted global speakers including Prof Patrick Meybohm, Dr Irwin Gross, Dr Megan Rowley, and Anna Mamwell covering patient consent and national guidance, making the shift to considering blood as an organ, and implementing PBM in practice.
We had over 270 attendees on the day and the video recordings of these sessions are now available on our YouTube channel.”
