Anis Larbi, Senior Manager of Global Flow Cytometry in Medical and Scientific Affairs at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Global Health Access Program in low and middle-income countries
Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is issuing a funding opportunity announcement to fund research projects.
Our shared initiatives are driven by a commitment to health equity and improving access to essential testing, supporting the fight against Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)/Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) and leukemia and lymphoma.
The purpose of this grant is to give back to our communities by addressing some of the world’s most urgent and pressing problems, including the need for new diagnostic and therapeutic tools and equitable access to high-quality healthcare around the world.
As part of our commitment to serving as a partner for change, we created the Global Health Access Program to support charitable donations and research grants in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
We are pleased to announce the opening of one round of grant applications for one independently authorized $25,000 award during a 12-month funding period. This grant funding opportunity is open to non-governmental organizations (NGOs), academic institutions, international organizations, policy organizations, and the Ministry of Health encompassing a broad spectrum of research types and approaches (clinical trials, translational research, retrospective studies, training and education, etc.).
