Hayley Taylor: Whatever Your Blood Type if You Can Donate, Please Do It Because You Could Help Save a Life
Hayley Taylor, Photographer, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”Last night I donated another bag of my prime o-neggy juice.
O negative blood can be used for almost anyone in an emergency. My last donation was issued to Pilgrim Hospital, Lincolnshire, on Christmas Day morning!
What a text to receive, and what a gift to be able to give.
I do wish I’d started donating sooner. I’ll admit I was a bit nervous at first, but now, three donations in, I can honestly say there’s nothing to worry about.
NHS Blood and Transplant are wonderful, and there are Biscoff biscuits at the end.
Whatever your blood type – if you can donate, please do – you could help save a life.”
