Mehmet Nevzat Cizmeci: Neuroimaging in Preterm Infants With Intraventricular Hemorrhage Is Evolving

Mehmet Nevzat Cizmeci, Neonatologist at The Hospital for Sick Children, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at University of Toronto, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in Seminars in Fetal and Neonatal Medicine։

”Neuroimaging in preterm infants with intraventricular hemorrhage is evolving.

In our recent paper, we focus on optimizing neuroimaging from a clinical perspective to better define injury and guide management. The goal is more ‘intentional’ neuroimaging.

Grateful to have worked on this with two leaders in our field, Lara Leijser and Linda De Vries.”

Title: Diagnostic neuroimaging and early detection of germinal matrix hemorrhage-intraventricular hemorrhage

Authors: Mehmet N. Cizmeci, Lara M. Leijser, Linda S. de Vries
