Matt Simmonds: Having a Really Fabulous Time at the BSH 2026 conference
Matt Simmonds, Senior Lecturer and Programme Lead for Biomedical Science at University of Lincoln, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Had a really fabulous time at the British Society for Haematology BSH2026 conference on Monday in Liverpool.
Was great to see so many cutting edge advances in the field of haematology and really showcased how research and clinical trials are really starting to deliver new advances for people with different haematological conditions.
Particularly enjoyed all the talks and posters round both research and clinical updates round enhancing treatment for people with MDS, MPN and AML.
The plenaries were super insightful and showcased the latest advances round coagulation and reassuring steps being taken by the NHS to prepare for any possible future conflicts.
Poster walk accompanied by a very lively Liverpool band was ace and well done to Anya Squires and Niloofar Amirian on your posters and fab research.
Fab conference and enjoyed my first time in Liverpool as well- will definitely go back and look forward to the BSH 2027″
