Cathy Harrison: Strengthening Global Care Networks – Insights from WFH Congress 2026
Cathy Harrison, Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Haemophilla and Haemostasis Disorders at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This is my call to say, I’ve landed back in the UK following a great WFH Congress 2026
Energised by meeting so many enthusiastic, passionate professionals and patients advocating for best care in sometimes very challenging environments.
Always coming away with new ideas, subjects to explore further and a greater awareness of be bigger picture than our small island.
This year’s theme not only focused on the gap in diagnosis but also a world in crisis and the impact this has on care provision.
Without diagnosis or, at very least, referral to diagnostic services, there is no access to care and treatment.
I just want to say a massive thanks to all the nurse speakers, chairs, facilitators from sessions at this Congress, and to all who came and learnt, discussed, engaged, shared with the wider group and lent their nursing voice to the conversation.
We are stronger together.
You can always drop the nurses committee an email directly on [email protected] for direct feedback, speakers roster submissions, project ideas or just for a chat and to connect.
Great to meet with everyone I did from across the global bleeding disorders and nursing community. I always feel super proud of the nursing community when I’ve been to events like this.
Love you all. Keep it up and safe travels home.”
