Dino Mehic: BDUC and Its Overlap With Inherited and Rare Bleeding Disorders
Dino Mehic, Physician Scientist at Medizinische Universität Wien, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in Haemophilia, adding:
”Honored to have spoken at the World Federation of Hemophilia Congress 2026 in Kuala Lumpur on Bleeding Disorder of Unknown Cause (BDUC) and its overlap with inherited and rare bleeding disorders.
The congress was also a great opportunity to interact with physicians treating bleeding disorders and with patient representatives from around the world, highlighting the importance of collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and patients to improve diagnosis and care.
Very pleased that, together with my co-authors Alessandro Casini, Robert Klamroth, Saskia Schols, Bauke Haisma we recently published our State-of-the-Art review in Haemophilia:
‘Rare Bleeding Disorders and Bleeding Disorder of Unknown Cause: Current Understanding and Recent Developments.”’
