Emma Groarke: A Practical Approach to Somatic Mutation and Cytogenetic Monitoring in Severe Aplastic Anemia

Emma Groarke, Associate Research Physician at the National Institutes of Health, shared on LinkedIn about a recent article she and his colleagues, published in NEJM, adding:

”Very excited to see our National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute How-I-Treat now published in Blood Journals Portfolio!

Bhavisha Patel, Fernanda Gutierrez-Rodrigues and I describe how we integrate somatic mutations and other alterations into the diagnosis and management of patients with BMFsm.

We have also included an algorithm of how we integrate detection of somatic mutation and chromosomal abnormalities into long-term follow up of SAA patients treated with ATG, CSA and EPAG based on the results from our recent NEJM Evidence paper.”
