Chuhan Dong: Presenting My Research on Antibody-Mediated RBC Clearance at Canadian Blood Services
Chuhan Dong, PHD Student at St. Michael’s Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Such a memorable week of research and learning!
I was honoured to receive the CBS Travel Bursary Award and present my research on antibody-mediated red blood cell clearance at Canadian Blood Services Research Day. Later that week, I had the opportunity to present my work as an oral presentation at the Canadian Society for Transfusion Medicine conference.
I’m incredibly grateful for all the engaging discussions, valuable feedback and opportunities to connect with researchers and clinicians across the field. Special shoutout to all the planning and organizing committees for making these events possible.
A huge thank you to my PI Dr. Alan H. Lazarus; my mentor Dr. Yoelys Cruz Leal; my incredible lab members; my TAC committee members Dr. Heyu Ni and Dr. Katerina Pavenski for their invaluable support and guidance.
Feeling inspired by all the wonderful conversations and ideas shared throughout the week, and excited for the next steps in my research journey.”
