Abdulrahman Nasiri: Honored to Share our Research Contributions at the EHA 2026
Abdulrahman Nasiri, The Evolving Role of Romiplostim in SAA, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Honored to share our research contributions at the European Hematology Association (EHA) (EHA 2026) Congress in Stockholm.
Our work was featured through two poster presentations and six published abstracts spanning sickle cell disease, thalassemia, thrombosis, stem cell transplantation, artificial intelligence, epidemiology, and rare hematologic disorders.
One poster, presenting a novel disease-specific scoring system for Fat Embolism Syndrome in Sickle Cell Disease, was selected among the highest-scoring submissions and received an EHA grant.
I was especially proud to see it presented by my student, Rimas Almutairi, whose enthusiasm for Internal Medicine and Hematology continues to grow.
Special thanks to the Saudi Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation (SSMBT) for supporting her participation and presentation at the congress.
Our second poster reported outcomes of reduced-intensity matched related hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in patients with sickle cell disease, contributing valuable long-term regional data to the field.
Grateful to all collaborators, mentors, trainees, and institutions who contributed to these projects, and to EHA for providing a platform to share our work with the international hematology community.”
