Roxana González Mazarío, Rheumatology Specialist at General University Hospital Consortium of Valencia, shared a post on X about a recent article by Emanuele Chiara et al., published in Rheumatology, adding:
“In AAV, cardiovascular risk is part of the disease trajectory.
- GPA: early venous thrombosis linked to disease activity.
- MPA: cardio-renal/ischaemic profile.
- EGPA: eosinophil-driven cardiac damage.
General CV scores may underestimate this risk.”
