Antoine Francis: LIFE – The Only Metric
Antoine Francis, Founder of Global Plasma Supply LTD, shared an insightful post on LinkedIn:
”From everywhere and anywhere I operate in the plasma industry, the numbers are more than statistics—they’re lives.
Every day, I think about:
The child in sub-Saharan Africa with hemophilia who may never reach adulthood because factor VIII isn’t available.
The mother in South Asia who survives childbirth only to face preventable complications because albumin was out of stock.
The patient with primary immunodeficiency in Southeast Asia who has never even heard of IVIG, let alone received it.
The science is clear. The solutions exist. But access is still dictated by postcode and purchasing power. That is not acceptable.
Through Global Plasma Supply LTD, we are pushing forward with strategies that unite operational excellence, ethical procurement, and a belief that every patient matters equally.
This is my life’s work, and it’s personal.
We will not stop until access to plasma-derived medicines is no longer a privilege but a given.”
