Danny Hsu: AIMS 2026 to Spotlight Differential Diagnosis of Thrombotic Microangiopathy

Danny Hsu, President of THANZ, Director of Therapeutic Apheresis, Immune and Obstetric Haematology at South Western Sydney Local Health District, shared
Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientists’s post on LinkedIn:

“Peeps, mark your calendars!

I’m thrilled to spotlight a cracking session coming up at the AIMS National Scientific Meeting 2026 — and I’ll admit, I’m a little biased on this one because the speaker happens to be a mate of mine!

Professor Ross Baker (Perth Blood Institute, University of Notre Dame Australia) is bringing his brilliant clinical mind to a case-based review of the differential diagnosis of Thrombotic Microangiopathy — one of those topics that keeps us all on our toes in the lab and the clinic.

With 173 plus peer-reviewed publications and leadership on the international stage (ISTH VWF Subcommittee, anyone?), Ross doesn’t just talk theory — he brings the real cases that make these sessions genuinely useful.
