Ahmad Gharehbaghian: Visiting the Alborz Provincial Blood Transfusion Center
Ahmad Gharehbaghian, Managing Director at Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This morning, I had the opportunity to visit the Alborz Provincial Blood Transfusion Center in Karaj to meet with the good, hardworking, and capable colleagues working across its various departments.
These visits serve several purposes:
- first, to get to know the colleagues personally—who are active in over 280 blood centres nationwide; and to express my gratitude and appreciation for all their efforts;
- second, to become closely acquainted with the operational processes at the centers, from donor recruitment right through to the distribution of blood and its products;
- third, to listen to the concerns, challenges, criticisms, and suggestions of the staff; and finally, to inspect the technical facilities and equipment firsthand and discuss technical matters with the team.
Fortunately, the Alborz Provincial Blood Transfusion Center has not only been successful and distinguished in supplying blood and blood products for the province itself, but it also provides commendable support to other blood transfusion centers across the country, including those in Gilan, Mazandaran, and Tehran.
It is only fitting that I sincerely express my gratitude to each and every one of the esteemed and capable colleagues at the Alborz Provincial Blood Transfusion Center for all their impactful work.”
