Ashok Singhal, Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education and Research, Government of Assam, shared a post on X:
“Some battles are fought quietly. Some victories change a life forever.
Young Dipjyoti Tossa from Haluwating Tea Estate, Sivasagar, was diagnosed with Beta Thalassemia by the RBSK Team of Morabazara BPHC.
Supported under the Snehasparsha Scheme of Government of Assam, he underwent a complex Bone Marrow Transplant at Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bengaluru. Today, he’s hale & hearty, and looking forward to a life of health and happiness.”
