Shadi Tabibian: Three Years of Progress Toward Life Beyond Hemophilia

Shadi Tabibian, Deputy of research at Blood Diseases Research Centers in Iran University of Medical Sciences, shared Mahdi Ziaee’s post on LinkedIn, adding:

”Proud to have been part of this meaningful journey, three years of progress toward fewer bleeds, greater confidence, and a life beyond hemophilia.

Congratulations to the Roche Pars team and everyone who made this possible.”

Mahdi Ziaee, Ecosystem Enabler at Roche, shared a post on LinkedIn:

”This year, we marked the 3rd anniversary of the first treatment with our innovative haemophilia medicine in Iran, alongside Iran’s National Haemophilia Week a time when the haemophilia community, patients, families and healthcare professionals come together to raise awareness and celebrate life beyond haemophilia.

This year, we also introduced Hooman.

Hooman is more than a cartoon character.

He is a young person living with haemophilia a friendly reminder to patients that haemophilia does not have to define the boundaries of their lives.

Through Hooman, we want to bring education closer to everyday life, make healthy routines easier to understand and, most importantly, give patients something they can relate to: a picture of life with confidence, possibility and as few bleeding episodes as possible.

For me, this campaign is also a moment to recognize, Maaedeh Majlesi Koupaei who leads our Haemophilia team at Roche Pars.

What started as an idea became something tangible, warm and meaningful for the haemophilia community because of her passion, ownership and determination، together with Zohreh Mozafari and Ghazaleh Hejran.

I am genuinely proud of what they have created.

A special thank you to our supportive General Manager, Nariman Sadri , to IRSTH, Peyman Eshghi Heamophila society, amin afshar, Shadi Tabibian and IRCHCC for standing alongside patients in this journey

At Roche Pars, we have remained committed to ensuring that patients can rely on access to their treatment even through incredibly challenging times, during the war and in its aftermath.

Our commitment has been simple: patients should not have to worry about whether their treatment will be there when they need it.

Because behind every patient is a person, a family and a life they want to live.

And that is what Hooman represents to me: the possibility of living that life.”
