Nicholas Lang, Internal Medicine Resident at University of Toronto, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in Canadian Medical Association Journal, adding:
”I’m excited to share a recent case report published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal (CMAJ): ‘Wet purpura and petechiae in a 48-year-old man with immune thrombocytopenia.’
This case was particularly meaningful to me as it describes a patient I had the opportunity to care for during my Internal Medicine training.
It was a valuable clinical experience and a reminder to recognize potentially serious manifestations of common hematologic conditions.”
