Konstantinos Stavroulakis: Vessel Preparation in Lower Limb Revascularization
Konstantinos Stavroulakis, Head of Department Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Mathias-Stiftung Rheine, Editor In Chief at Vascupedia, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he and his colleagues co-authored, published in Endovascular Today, adding:
“Our latest contribution with Natasha Hasemaki and Yassine Haddad to Endovascular Today explores the current status and future perspectives of vessel preparation.
Our recent RCPAD (Research Collaborative) delphi consensus published by Athanasios (Thanos) Saratzis has already defined the goals and objectives of vessel prep.
There is, however, still a lot of work to be done—particularly when it comes to generating meaningful clinical data to better define the role and value of vessel preparation devices.
An important field with plenty of opportunities ahead.”
