Gemma Davies: New CMML Research Selected for Presentation at the 68th ASH Annual Meeting
Gemma Davies, PhD Student at The University of Manchester, shared a post on LinkedIn:
”I am very pleased to have been accepted for a poster presentation at the American Society of Hematology 68th ASH Annual Meeting and Exposition later this year.
This opportunity has come as a result of my work as a research technician in CMML under the supervision of Daniel Wiseman and Kiran Batta, in partnership with Geron Corporation.
My abstract ‘Telomere maintenance as a therapeutic vulnerability in chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia: Rationale for targeted telomerase inhibition with imetelstat’ will be published online in the Abstracts issue of Blood in November and my poster will be presented at the meeting in December.
I look forward to following the continued progress of this project and applying the knowledge and experience I have gained to my upcoming PhD.”
