Chandler Purser: AABB 2026 Focuses on Transfusion Safety and Audit-Driven Practice Improvement
Chandler Purser, Transfusion Safety Officer at Atrium Health, shared a post on LinkedIn.
“AABB is almost here! I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces, meeting new colleagues, and talking all things transfusion safety and PBM.
This year, I have the honor of speaking alongside Urvi Bhula and Allison Myers, with Lee Anne Sorto leading our session: ‘Audits That Matter: Redesigning Transfusion Safety Audits to Drive Bedside Practice Change Beyond Accreditation Compliance.’
These women are incredible colleagues I learn so much from, but they are also beautiful friends I’m grateful to have. Getting to share this experience with them makes it even more special.
As a nurse and TSO, I care about what happens at the bedside. I’m excited to talk about how we can use our audits to make meaningful changes in the way we care for our patients.
If you’ll be in Atlanta, come say hi! I’d love to see you at our session. And yes, I should have some friendship bracelets.”
