Amber Yates: A Major Milestone for the RISE UP Phase 3 Study
Amber Yates, Senior Medical Director and Global Medical Affairs Leader at Agios Pharmaceuticals, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in The Lancet, adding:
“It’s hard to put into words what this means to me. I’m thrilled to share the RISE UP phase 3 results have been published in The Lancet, a culmination of many years of focus and persistence.
When I left academia, for some this decision didn’t make sense. I was stepping away from patient care to pursue an unknown path. True, but this journey has been an indescribable experience.
Every day has been worth it. The challenges, the long hours, the uncertainty – all of it lead to this moment. I’m so grateful to work on this team – the dedication, always patient focused.
This is not the end, it is the beginning.”
