Nabiha Huq Saifee: Do You Help Make Platelet Transfusion Decisions Before Lumbar Puncture?
Nabiha Huq Saifee, Assistant Professor at University of Washington, Medical Director of Transfusion Service at Seattle Children’s Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Do you help make platelet transfusion decisions for patients undergoing lumbar puncture?
Take our 10-minute, anonymous survey exploring factors influencing use of the recent AABB or ICTMG platelet transfusion recommendation for lumbar puncture.
Your input will help identify barriers and enablers to putting the guideline into practice. Participation in this research study is voluntary.
Please share the survey link with colleagues involved in these decisions, including those in oncology, interventional radiology, neuroradiology, anesthesiology and neurosurgery.
Led by Ottawa Hospital Research Institute in partnership with ICTMG, with funding from Canadian Blood Services.”
