Thomas Dayspring: Advancing Cardiovascular Risk Assessment Through Multidisciplinary Lipid Care

Thomas Dayspring, Lipid Specialist, Educator at Early Medical, shared Atherosclerosis‘s post on LinkedIn about a recent article by Michael I. Miyamoto et al, published in Journal of Clinical Lipidology, adding:

“I call attention to this manuscript posted on line Journal of Clinical Lipidology.

It shows what a Cardiology Group, with insightful actions, can be by vastly improving, with a multidisciplinary approach, CV risk assessment and care.

What they offer is vastly superior (but easily copied) to what is routinely done in most Cardiology or other practices and their patients are lucky.

The paper deals with their lipid assessments but through personal correspondence I know they are also big apoB utilizers.

If I could get them a little more outside of the box and also appropriately utilize sterol biomarkers, they would-be cutting edge.

I also know the clinicians are planning to seek certification from ABCL. Congrats to the team.”
