Gregory Denomme, Director Medical Affairs at Grifols Diagnostic Solutions Laboratories, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article he co-authored with Waseem Anani, published in Petz and Garratty’s Immune Hemolytic Anemias, adding:
”I am deeply honored to have co-edited the third edition of Immune Hemolytic Anemias, newly titled ‘Petz and Garratty’s Immune Hemolytic Anemias’, with Waseem Anani in recognition of the original authors, Lawrence D. Petz and George Garratty, whose work remains foundational to the field.
More than 20 years after publication of the second edition, its continued use by physicians, blood bankers, and immunohematologists inspired us to update their work.
This edition continues their MD-PhD legacy, reflecting the interdisciplinary clinical and scientific foundations of immune-mediated hemolytic anemia and immunohematology.”
