Mina Jarrahi: Platelet-Rich Fibrin for Periodontal Regeneration
Mina Jarrahi, Bachelor of biomedical engineering at Islamic Azad University, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent article she and her colleagues co-authored, published in Bio Med Research International, adding:
“I’m delighted to share that our article, ‘Development of a Bioactive Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC)/Keratin/Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) Composite Scaffold for Periodontal Regeneration,’ has been published in Biomedical Research International (Wiley, IF: 2.9).
This article is the first publication from my Master’s thesis, and I was fortunate to contribute as a collaborator, carrying out the experimental and laboratory work.
The news reached me on my birthday, which made it the most meaningful gift I could have received. It reminded me that every hour in the lab, every experiment, and every repetition was worth it.
I’d like to extend my special thanks to Arezou Mehrabi and Esmaeil (Kianoush) Biazar , my respected supervisors and mentors, for their guidance, patience, and constant support. I’ve learned so much from them, not only about research methods but also about scientific thinking and perseverance.
I’m also sincerely grateful to all my colleagues and collaborators who contributed to this work.
This publication is only the beginning. I’m excited to continue my academic journey alongside such inspiring mentors.”
