Godfred Oduro: Engaging Young Students in Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Disease Awareness
Godfred Oduro, Chief Executive Officer of Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Disease Advocacy and Research Ghana, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Every year, Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Disease Advocacy and Research Ghana joins the rest of the Inherited Blood Disorders community to mark the World Inherited Blood Disorders Day on 18th October and through out the month as awareness month.
This year we flexed with first year junior high school with our red arm tie to celebrate the day and month.
During the period, pupils were educated Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Diseases with our theme ‘You are your your blood’.
Catch them young policy.”
