Akshat Jain: Completing a Milestone Speaker Circuit with Gene Therapy and VWD Presentations at ASH 2026

Akshat Jain, Hematology Pediatric Workforce Task Force at American Society of Hematology, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Excited to share that I’ll be giving an oral presentation on gene therapy in sickle cell disease , share our research on von Willebrand disease, Panel the Trainee Session blood buddies, at the 2026 American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting in New Orleans this December!

This would conclude a fruitful speaker circuit this year that allowed me to give an oral presentation at all the major academic venues in our speciality of Hematology in 2026 :

  • ASTCT meeting, Salt Lake City
  • American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (ASPHO) ,Minneapolis
  • International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH), Paris
  • World Federation of Hemophilia / Fédération mondiale de l’hémophilie ,Kaula Lampur

I’m grateful to my co-authors, mentors, and collaborators for their contributions and support.
