Alessandra Bosch: Von Willebrand Disease and Rare Bleeding Disorders, Collaborative Insights and Patient Empowerment
Alessandra Bosch, Clinician Scientist at University of Zurich, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Such an inspiring Saturday at the Von Willebrand Disease and Rare Bleeding Disorders Patient Day (SHG) in Bern a full day dedicated to von Willebrand disease and rare bleeding disorder patients, held in German and French with simultaneous translation.
It was great to share the stage with colleagues AlessandroCasini (HUG) on new treatments and therapies for rare bleeding disorders, and Sebastien L. (HUG, UCLouvain) on the role of physiotherapy and joint assessment in Von Willebrand disease, including a hands on ultrasound workshop.
I had the pleasure of presenting on bleeding symptoms in women and girls with bleeding disorders, and giving a workshop on heavy menstrual bleeding in adolescents young women.
Thank you to the Schweizerische Hämophilie Gesellschaft for organizing such a valuable event for the bleeding disorders community.
And a big THANKS to the patients for your active participation!”
