Advancing Sickle Cell Care Through Advocacy – American Society of Hematology
American Society of Hematology shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Today, members of the ASH Advocacy Leadership Institute took to Capitol Hill to advocate for policies that advance hematology research and improve patient care.
They urged Congress to provide at least 51.3 billion dollars in FY27 funding for NIH, 10 million dollars for the CDC Sickle Cell Data Collection Program, and support legislation to improve sickle cell care and expand access to blood transfusions for hospice patients.”
