Invaluable insights gained.
Phase 2, here we come!”
Quoting Wellumio‘s post:
”We’re very excited to announce the completion of our first-in-human clinical trial at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
This is a major milestone and a significant step forward for Axana as we work to accelerate stroke detection and decision-making in time-critical settings.
First and foremost, we thank the study participants and their families.
This study would not have been possible without their generosity and willingness to support the advancement of medical technology.
We are also incredibly grateful to the clinicians, investigators, and research teams at RMH, along with all of our collaborators and partners who helped make this possible.
In particular, we’d like to acknowledge Dr James Barker and Amy MacDonald for coordinating the study day to day, and Professors Geoffrey Donnan and Stephen Davis from the Australian Stroke Alliance as the site Principal Investigators.
This trial has generated invaluable insights, and we’re looking forward to returning to the clinic for our Phase 2 trial.”
