Katherine Blackwell: Blessed to Have the Opportunity to Speak at the Hemophilia of Indiana Annual Meeting
Katherine Blackwell, Student at Indiana University Bloomington, Lifeguard, Deck Coordinator, Swim Instructor at YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This past weekend I was blessed to receive the opportunity to speak at Hemophilia of Indiana’s Annual Meeting Conference.
I delivered a thoughtful presentation in collaboration with healthcare providers to give a patient perspective on bleeding disorders, personal experiences, and what it means to be an advocate.
Through this experience, I learned:
- Communication and spontaneous speaking skills
- Professional presentation
- How to deliver an entertaining presentation to a large and diverse audience
Thank you Hemophilia of Indiana and Innovative Hematology for this experience!”
