Khairul Missa Mohd Amin: Highlights from RANZCR ASM 2026 and Building Stronger PE Care
Khairul Missa Mohd Amin, Interventional Radiologist at Health New Zealand, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“RANZCR ASM 2026 | Day 3 — What a wrap!
Every time I attend the The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) ASM, it feels a little like coming home to the village.
A place where you’re surrounded by people who share your passion, speak your language, and understand why we do what we do.
I was privileged to share a talk on Real-World Experience in Establishing a PE Intervention Programme, alongside Prof. Ashwani Sharma and Dr Philip Chan, during the session on Catheter-Directed Therapy for PE, chaired by Dr Carl Samuelsson.
An opportunity to share lessons from the ground, exchange perspectives, and explore how we can continue to improve outcomes for our patients.
But then comes my favourite and arguably the most important part of any conference: the people – he tāngata, he tāngata, he tāngata.
Catching up with old friends, making new connections, and finally meeting people I’ve heard about and admired for years.
These conversations, shared experiences, and spontaneous discussions are what make conferences so special.
I’m heading home with my radiology soul feeling full and my brain buzzing with new knowledge, fresh perspectives, and inspiration from shared learning.
Because beyond the science, the technology, and the presentations, it’s the people who make this community what it is.
And I feel incredibly lucky to be part of it.”
