Lisa Murphy Quoted Aristotle: Knowing Yourself is The Beginning of Wisdom
Lisa Murphy, Chief Executive Officer at Stroke Foundation, Published a post on LinkedIn:
“Hello all you wonderful, brilliant and incredible LinkedIn community!
Aristotle said “Knowing yourself is the beginning of wisdom”…
and that is what we did at the Chief Executive Women (CEW) Executive Leadership Program last week.

The course taught me to:
- Celebrate, embrace and leverage my strengths
- Know myself and what I need to perform optimally
- Use my body and voice together to lead with gravitas
I am ready to serve my team, my organisation and my community with renewed clarity and confidence.
Knowing and trusting yourself is the beginning of wisdom!
Thank you to the cohort of women leaders – an amazing, supportive and truely brilliant bunch!
Thank you to our coaches and facilitators for the week Ann Burns, Sarah Rowley, Louise Mahler Adjunct Professor, Jo Stanley and Alessandra Edwards
And thank you to Stroke Foundation for letting me go!”
