Matías J Alet on Acute Ischemic Stroke With Low NIHSS at NeuroQuality
Matías J Alet, Member of Education Committee of World Stroke Organization, shared on LinkedIn:
”I was pleased to participate in NeuroQuality, where I gave a presentation on acute ischemic stroke with low NIHSS.
During the session, we reviewed the therapeutic strategies currently available for these clinical scenarios, including the role of thrombolysis, dual antiplatelet therapy, and anticoagulation, as well as the key criteria that guide treatment decisions in everyday clinical practice.
These are important discussions, because patients with low NIHSS scores often require an individualized approach that goes beyond the number itself.
Sharing evidence, clinical reasoning, and practical frameworks remains essential to improving stroke care.”
