Mavis Agnes Kisakye: Honored to Join UNHLS Leadership in Advancing HIV Diagnostics in Uganda
Mavis Agnes Kisakye, Executive Director of Haemophilia Foundation of Uganda, Health Officer, EVD Response at Uganda Red Cross Society, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Honored to join the leadership at the Uganda National Health Laboratory Services (UNHLS) for the official launch of m-Mpima—a groundbreaking technology advancing HIV viral load testing in Uganda.
Standing alongside the Honorable Minister of Health, the Commissioner, the Director of CDC, USA ambassador to Uganda in charge of child health, and key international partners reinforces the power of strong institutional collaboration.
At Haemophilia Foundation Uganda (HFU), our deep-rooted partnership with UNHLS continues to grow as we work together to strengthen national diagnostic networks—laying the foundation for sustainable specialized care, including our joint efforts toward establishing a National Center of Excellence.
Diagnostics remain the gateway to quality care. Together with the Ministry of Health and our global partners, we are ensuring no patient is left undiagnosed.”
